Show setup encountered a 2" HV arc from CRT cup to the degauss coil and I suspected that either the cup insulation was degraded or the tripler itself had failed and was over voltage. This show was the first time I'd brought a spare Philips KT-3 tripler and I decided a field replacement was viable given it was a simply bolted on with 3 fly wires that didn't require the chassis to be removed.

The replacement tripler ran without issue and the game was up and running for the entire show.

I had acquired a Pacman light previously intending to use it as a "topper" for Puck Man at the show. Since the 2021 show was COVID cancelled this was the first show to use it.
