Pre-show testing found the game missing colours. Tapping the side of the cabinet caused the colours to come and go. Attaching the Test Pattern Generator confirmed that the intermittent missing green was a monitor chassis problem, and the chassis was removed for repair. Visual inspection on the bench found dry joints on TR 11 and TR 12 transistors. Five of the six pins were loose and the whole back third section of the PCB was reflowed. Reinstallation and retest of the chassis confirmed stable green and no further intermittency.
